Collectability: Ferrari and GNR? Yeah it’s a winner. I doubt these will ever end up on eBay or anywhere else.
Key themes: 1950s Ferrari formula one car, assuming the skull is meant to be the legendary driver Juan Manuel Fangio.
Did you know? Imola is the circuit that claimed the life of Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna. They reluctantly modified the track to make it safer after his death (a very unitalian think to do). But modifications aside, this a very fast, hairy chested manly race track.
Did you also know? There was a Cuban Gran Prix around the 50s. Revolutionaries kidnapped Fangio as a political statement. But he was such a top bloke that they let him go and Fangio sent his captors Christmas cards every year.
Artist nailed it?
